About The Position

This role involves working with Thin film media processes for Hard Drive Media, with experience desired in WASH, LUBE, SPUTTER, FTP, or TEST. The technician will operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysis, perform data collection, and maintain documentation. They must be able to understand and resolve job-related problems, read production reports and process instructions, and work effectively in a team environment. The position requires good communication, problem-solving, and computer skills, along with flexibility to learn quickly and operate multiple tools in a production cell in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will work in a class 100 cleanroom and must be flexible to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as required.

Requirements

  • At least 0-3 years manufacturing experience, or equivalent.
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency, commitment, and be results-oriented.
  • Must have basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner.
  • Excellent dexterity when handling small parts is required.
  • Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 25 pounds on a rare basis, 10 pounds on an occasional basis, 5 pounds on a frequent basis, and 2 pounds on a constant basis.
  • Ability to move the neck and head repetitively (flexion, extension, rotation, and lateral bending).
  • Ability to lift arms above shoulder level about 2-3 times a day.

Nice To Haves

  • Intermediate/advanced level of Excel is a plus.
