About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. This role involves working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment, including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and potentially large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment at specialty lines locations. The position offers opportunities to build skills, develop a career track in service or operation management, and work in a safety-focused environment with a team of people.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
May need to provide tools of trade.
Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
