About The Position

Technician 1 works on customer sites in a variety of environments including new construction, remodels, and operating facilities. This position is also responsible for complying with Encore standards for Safety, Culture and Customer Service.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Install cabling needed for various field devices.
  • Basic terminations of cables by device type
  • Install basic devices in the field.
  • Basic understanding of field components
  • Read and understand basic scopes of work.
  • Possess a basic understanding of industry related tools, proficient in use.
  • Ability to use power tools, effectively and safely.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, able and willing to take direction and execute those directives effectively and efficiently.
  • Understand and follow safety guidelines, if working with others, ensuring they are also working in a safe manner.
  • Willing to listen, learn and perform effectively on specific installation tasks.
  • Competent and capable communicator
