About The Position

PLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for an Entry Level Technical Writer to join a fast-paced program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This is a customer-facing role and requires a polished and professional candidate. The role is responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. The Technical Writer will write and edit technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation. They will create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources. Tasks include working with the customers senior leadership to prepare and review documents with graphics for internal and external distribution.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph
• Two (2) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (OR) Two (2) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate’s degree.

Responsibilities
