The National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division of the Leidos Fed Civ IT Business Area currently has an opening for a Technical Writer. This position will be part of a dynamic team working to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City at their Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center location. The Tech Writer will provide the AJW-142 En Route Surveillance Team, Long Range Radar (AJW-142) technical writing services at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC). Primary Responsibilities Ability to support timely, accurate, relevant analytical production, to include documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings. Strong ability to quickly and effectively gather requirements, perform research, compile information, prioritize and collate, draft, edit, and produce high-quality documentation that satisfies customer needs with minimal follow-on work needed. Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, ability to proactively multi-task and meet short deadlines, and possess excellent writing and grammatical skills. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex and technical data to non-technical consumers.
