Technical Writer I
About The Position
Darkblade Systems, a CIS Secure company, has an opportunity for a Technical Writer I supporting a new program located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities include collecting and organizing information for the preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports. The role also involves editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables and documents. This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday, with limited or minimal travel expected.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
- Potential to upgrade Secret clearance.
- Associates of Arts or Science OR two-year technical school degree + minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR High school diploma / GED plus 10 years experience
- Experience with collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant graphics support experience, or military experience E4 and up.
