About The Position

Responsible for organizing and controlling travel, government administration activities related to Labor Permits and Visa restrictions in support of all Dry Docks activities. Organize the necessary travel arrangement for the Contractors & Technicians scheduled to join the ships during the dry docks period. During the "non-dry docks" period, assist the department with other operational activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or experience in cruise industry, or any equivalent combination of relevant background and experience.
  • 1-2 years' experience supporting travel and government administration for dry docks and special projects.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Available after hours and weekends as feasible during the dry docks periods to support last minute travel changes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience on Air Sea Operations is preferred. If previous experience in the field is not present, a CV of a potential Candidate will be examined and taken into consideration reviewing the level of duties and responsibilities covered during previous assignments not necessarily related to the Travel Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Organize work visas, and air travel requirements in support of Technical Operations, Marine Operations, New Builds, Refurbishment, excluding Corporate Travels.
  • Assist project teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts for travel related to their projects, collecting the related expenses history
  • Work closely with the Contract Leaders in order to have them complete the appropriate forms requested by the Authorities in terms of obtaining the necessary Visa and Labor Permits in due time, if and when requested.
  • Track progress of the same communicating with the designated parties
  • Work closely with the designated yard HR Representatives in order to facilitate the relationship with the Local Government and non-Government entities to obtain the Visa and the Labor Permit in due time.
  • Track the progress of travel request, when necessary.
  • Work with Vessels Ops in resolution of any statutory restrictions involving contractor travel that could potentially impact project plans and execution.
  • Assist project teams in the review and analysis of travel requests. Work with Project Managers to generate and distribute reports that provide status updates to all involved departments.
  • Maintain close contact with project managers to resolve any possible travel or visa challenges in a proactive manner. Work with project managers in the approval and sourcing of alternative travel.
  • Perform other functions as assigned and available to travel when and if necessary
