About The Position

Responsible for managing the company travel policy and making travel arrangements needed for the organization’s travelers to accomplish business objectives. MasTec Renewables, comprised of Wanzek Construction, IEA Constructors and White Construction, combines over 20+ years of renewable energy construction experience. Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
  • Provide excellent customer service to travelers by assessing their needs, meeting quality standards, and striving for client satisfaction
  • Use logic and reasoning to find the right accommodations at the best prices and to solve any problems that arise
  • Basic understanding of maps, geography, and popular worldwide destinations
  • Ability to juggle multiple planning projects at one time and can take calls while simultaneously typing an email or filling out travel documents
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to ensure bills and receipts are correctly processed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and levels within the company

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for updating and implementing the company’s travel policies and standards
  • Ensure consistency in travel arrangements to ensure efficient operations and a commitment to the company’s profit belief
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external travelers needing services
  • Work closely with all business operating units to arrange business travel as needed for in-house and client travelers
  • Resolve any problems with travel or accommodations by using company resolution protocol and communicating with all relevant parties
  • Research to find travel deals and evaluate services to find the best quality for the price. Use this knowledge to enhance future travel experiences for employees or clients
  • Processes travel documents according to travel needs and company procedures; including verifying itineraries, coordinating payments, addressing document issues, and complete any legal forms
  • Responsible for arranging travel accommodations for business visitors
  • Partner with MasTec to ensure we follow our Corporate Travel Policy
  • Other duties as assigned
