Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years related experience leading transfer projects
  • 3-5 years leading Project Management projects
  • Must be proficient with English
  • Must be comfortable working in an office setting, sitting at a computer, using an office phone, and doing light office work
  • No travel restriction to travel outside of the United States (Mexico, Costa Rica, and China)
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time during different periods of projects

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Sr PMO Director, responsible for developing and managing the portfolio of Supply Chain Technical Transfer projects to drive Quality, Growth, Delivery and Cost Improvements globally across the BWI Supply Chain organization
  • Responsible for managing the technical projects of External Manufacturing and Internal Manufacturing around capacity expansion
  • Responsible for providing technical support for the approval/validation of changes/ improvements
  • Oversees technical execution of projects
  • Provides comprehensive technical advice
  • Facilitates resolution of complex technical and operational problems
  • Responsible for providing technical support for the resolution manufacturing assembly issues
  • Drive the development and implementation validation activities and the governance processes to manage the process and system set up at the EM
  • Conduct effective strategy and business planning input processes, metrics, and scorecard reviews
  • Implement standard best practices for project management, measurement, and prioritization
  • Develop and define the master list of Supply Chain improvement projects within the BWI SC, including business case, resources, project timelines, deliverables, and metrics
  • Establish program tracking and reporting to ensure tracking for key benefits realization and to meet the needs of the BWI Supply Chain Leadership Team
  • Implement an agile and efficient process to prioritize projects within the portfolio, and flow appropriate resources to ensure benefits are realized
  • Reviews and approves technical documentation to verify compliance to technical specifications and standards
  • Communicates with internal (manufacturing, quality, engineering) and external partners to coordinate and execute project plans
  • Assigns tasks according to projected scopes including compliance and quality improvement, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, capacity increase, raw material qualification, and launch preparation
  • Ensures implementation of multiple new product development plans and programs for the business unit.
  • Monitors smooth execution of plans and programs at lower levels and cross functionally
  • Allocates proper level of resources to facilitate attainment of project goals within established timeliness and budgets
  • Ensures departmental and company compliance with all local government and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned; some responsibilities listed may not be assigned
