Requirements

  • Interacts daily with subordinates or peers within similar or related functions primarily for the purpose of presenting and exchanging information.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and delivery of training materials on company products, processes and technologies to ensure that team members develop, maintain, and increase their own technical and/or process knowledge.
  • Provides orientation and training on new course materials.
  • Selects appropriate training aids.
  • Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material.
  • May monitor training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyzes course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
  • Coaches and address performance related issues following progressive discipline for safety, quality, performance, training and attendance.
  • Supervises entry-level or semi-skilled hourly employees such as production, craft, and clerical workers.
  • Coordinates resources and sets daily priorities for the team to ensure task completion and operational objectives are met.
  • Monitors daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
  • Applies operational business practices and coordinates with other closely related areas to improve efficiency.
  • Directs operations of work units.
  • Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in safe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.
