About The Position

General Purpose: The Technical Trainer provides personalized and group training firm-wide for the use of firm systems, applications, workflows, and processes, as well as coordinating external and internal training programs for Holland & Hart business professional, paralegals, and attorneys. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct and support technical software training and onboarding for new hires at Holland & Hart. Assist with design and delivery of computer-based and multimedia curriculum. Create and deliver group workshops, individual training sessions, and presentations to all levels within the Firm. Build online content in LMS and develop monitoring solutions to ensure employees are completing all core new hire learning paths and other assigned mandatory trainings, such as security awareness. Educate and guide users to support firm-wide adoption of AI tools by delivering training, resources, and guidance that help users integrate new technology into daily workflows. Work directly with department heads, practice groups, and other end users troubleshooting issues related to software applications and workflows. Update and maintain firm electronic training resources (e.g., portal, videos, blog entries, e-mail tips, as well as LMS curriculum and materials). Coordinate with other system stakeholders to resolve end user issues. Ensure that all assistance given follows department policies, procedures, and standards. Record all incidents in the firm’s IT ticket tracking system. Gathers feedback to make recommendations to increase training efficiency and effectiveness. Perform additional duties and tasks assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the firm’s overall objectives.

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience as trainer, training facilitator, or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Software training experience.
  • Knowledge of AI concepts, tools, generative AI applications, or other rapidly changing technologies.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, performance metrics, and training evaluation methods.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and other training-related tools.
  • Ability to travel and provide training/support to all Holland & Hart offices as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
