Leidos Defense Group has an opening aboard Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) WA. This position is responsible for planning, developing and delivering training programs, manuals, and procedures for technical products or solutions. Duties may include analyzing training needs and developing programs to address them; developing lesson plans, training materials, course content and methodology; and managing delivery of training across multiple formats. May also evaluate efficacy of training and application of knowledge, provide train-the-trainer programs and qualify trainers for content delivery. May assist with the development and implementation of technical manuals and procedures in support of program requirements. IMPACT: Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Must be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team, in a fast-moving environment. COMPLEXITY: Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution. Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches. TALENT MANAGEMENT: This is not a supervisory position KNOWLEDGE: Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
