Requirements

Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with touch labor, engineers, Customers and management when resolving quality issues.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of IPC and/or NASA standards.
Knowledge and experience in technical training and skills certification in the defense industry.
Must be willing to work overtime and travel as required.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Trainer
NASA 8739 Level B Trainer (8739.1, 8739.4)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administers technical and skills certification and training for manufacturing environment. This includes soldering and inspection to IPC and NASA standards and administration of OJT.
Develops course content, determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids.
Develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Continuously revises training plans to meet evolving training requirements.
Keeps training documentation current and manages training records.
Maintains instructor certification ensuring site meets customer contract requirements.
Supports other Lockheed Martin sites with training initiatives and conducts IPC certification training.
Interacts with touch labor in day to day activities solving problems.
