Job Summary Primary responsibility for instructor-led and virtual instructor-led delivery and maintenance of Digital/technical training programs for new hire staff. Work closely with the department to identify training needs, develop training materials, and deliver training to healthcare employees at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Adult & Continuing Education or Computer Science preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in adult education and/or curriculum design 2-3 years required
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new application software and systems.
  • Strong organization, planning, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic training experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Delivers instruction in the use of software and other technologies.
  • Prepares lesson plans, including methods, materials, and documentation to be presented in class.
  • Assesses the users' training needs and proposes solutions for a diverse training population.
  • Design and administer user proficiency assessments.
  • Provide coaching to individual users as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge and proficiency through relevant educational forums.
  • Participate in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.
  • Provide input into the development of training curriculum.
