Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
12 years of experience in Software Engineering
Experience leading technical teams
Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms
Strong Java development skills
Experience with service containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
Experience or exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) principles
Familiarity with customer authentication and authorization platforms and standards
Familiarity with Git for software version control
Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse backgrounds and skill sets
Customer-service mindset with a willingness to contribute to internal and customer-facing documentation
U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible). Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets
Design and implement ETL workflows to convert and normalize data
Augment the platform with new tools and technologies to support evolving mission needs
Gather stakeholder requirements, assess available data, and develop solutions for delivering key metrics
Break down technical efforts into actionable tasks and remove obstacles to support consistent team execution
Define and communicate task scope through clear documentation and tracking systems
Integrate site reliability engineering practices into the operational platform
Mentor and guide junior software engineers and data scientists
Develop project management materials, including agendas, meeting notes, and design decision records
