As a Technical Tax Manager at Hall CPA, you are responsible for delivering high-quality tax returns, ensuring client satisfaction, and mentoring and developing your team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
  • CPA or EA certification
  • Experience with real estate tax matters and multi-state tax returns
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct final technical reviews of tax returns and documents for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, and corporations, including signing tax returns
  • Provide tax return debriefs to clients and maintain ongoing relationships
  • Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Review and facilitate tax resolution with federal and state tax authorities
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and procedures
  • Assist in team development of technical skills and work quality, providing mentorship and training
  • Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships by managing their expectations, being responsive to their communications/emails
  • Recommend other firm services to the benefit of the client. Ex: bookkeeping services, tax advisory, etc.
