Technical Targeting Analyst Lead
About The Position
Peraton is seeking a Technical Targeting Analyst Lead to oversee analysis of multi-INT data to develop comprehensive and accurate identity intelligence on behalf of a national-level customer. The analyst will evaluate diverse datasets and produce specialized targeting products and briefings for a variety of stakeholders, including internal and external partners as well as senior policymakers. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a team lead or similar role supporting the intelligence and/or law enforcement communities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment under minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Experience leveraging analytic methodologies and tradecraft, and ability to apply those skills within the intelligence cycle
- Familiarity with the use of visual analysis tools to support the development of data-driven products
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline
- Experience supporting national-level customers
- Experience working in the customer’s operational environment
- Experience leveraging customer tools and databases to develop targeting products
- Experience in a team lead or similar role
Responsibilities
- Leading the integration and analysis of disparate, raw data and semi-structured reports to uncover patterns and trends, developing actionable intelligence to inform and disrupt
- Developing, coordinating, incorporating feedback within, and delivering all-source intelligence products, targeting products, and/or briefings
- Ensuring all products adhere to applicable customer and community standards
- Maintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed
- Engaging with colleagues to support initiatives designed to enhance customer tools and close capabilities gaps
- Providing oversight, guidance, and mentoring to a team of professionals supporting targeting requirements
