About The Position

ShopWorks has an opening for an Entry-level technical support position. The Customer Service/Technical Support representative will be responsible for helping customers via phone, email, and logging into their computers to troubleshoot issues with our business management software.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Windows and Mac-based computers with a willingness and capability to learn more.
  • Basic understanding of databases and how they work.
  • Comfortable using email and other communication tools like Slack.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve on their own.
  • Ability to learn an enterprise-level business software program by using videos, software, and some one-on-one personal training.
  • Willingness to be trained.
  • Desire to assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Good work ethic, punctual, and accountable.
  • Ability to work either alone or in a team environment to solve customer problems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Foundational knowledge in software troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred
  • Experience in a support environment is a plus
  • Basic accounting knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls and respond to their emails in a timely manner
  • Assist customers with upgrades, migrations, or archives
  • Research and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Test and document glitches in the software
  • Assist customers with various questions and tasks
