About The Position

V2X is seeking a Technical Support Technician III for our Lexington Park, MD location. This position requires an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. The Technical Support Technician is part of the on-site contract program management office and provides integrated, executive-level, confidential operational support to the Director of Mission Support and the on-site Contract Program Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR Associate's degree and four (4) years of progressive experience in supply or logistics operations; OR High School Diploma and eight (8) years of progressive experience in supply or logistics operations.
  • Experience in logistics and supply.
  • Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated work experience directly related to material handling.
  • Experience with the operation and usage of automated accountability systems such as Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or DOD equivalent property accountability system.
  • Experience with FACTS SCM.
  • Must possess 5 years of military or DOD experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Knowledge of DOD logistics, supply, and general warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and property accountability procedures.
  • Knowledge in handling, movement, storage, and maintenance of government property and supplies.
  • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provides worldwide help desk support for MSD, PD 42 IUlD printers, and FACTS SCM and AM operations.
  • Provides training for Property Accountability and Warehouse personnel as required, in either a Classroom Environment or as OJT.
  • Analyzes new user requested requirements for the 11 MSD modules, recommends program changes, develops unit Testing scripts, and deploys updated program software to all users worldwide.
  • Researches and analyzes WH stock records for items showing their location as 017 (Receiving Floor) and 01T (Shipping Floor) and takes resolution action or provides history of those items to the WH operations for resolution action.
  • Researches, identifies, sorts and packs chemical related equipment and interacts with the DI,A DARD Project for processing turn-ins.
  • Researches, analyzes, and provides solutions for processing of accountable items that are not recognized by the logistics systems, providing documents required for DLA turn-in processing.
  • Provides logistics expertise and participates in CRP sessions for the development of the transition from FACTS 9.0 to 9.2.
  • Monitors and updates as required the DIA Property Accountability and Warehouse Operations Computer Based Training Courses, and MSD Property Accountability and Warehouse Operations User's Guides.
  • Coordinates and assists LOG2A with SOP updates. Edits and produces a draft copy of the WI-I SOP yearly update for LOG2A approval.
  • May serve as directed by the government to perform similar tasks as a logistics manager or planner and must be knowledgeable of property book accounting methodologies with duties to include: planning, directing, and coordinating supply operations such as inventory management, acquisition, warehouse management, traffic management, and disposal of assets.
