This role involves managing Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, including scheduling, monitoring, and de-conflicting teleconference schedules. It also includes the installation and testing of VTC and Voice over IP (VOIP) equipment, assisting with VTC process development and sustainment across AMC (Air Mobility Command) wide. The position requires providing accurate scheduling for SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) conference rooms at various locations and conducting VTC installations at AMC subordinate commands. Additionally, the role includes providing basic user training on VTC equipment and processes, both hands-on and through written documentation, and submitting daily updates and weekly status reports. The specialist will ensure continued access to the JWICS (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System) computer network by resetting user passwords, unlocking accounts, creating new accounts, and installing printers and network drives. Regular briefings and reports on task status and performance metrics are also required, along with weekly meetings with the Government IT representative to discuss and approve changes to the VTC baseline.
