About The Position

This role involves managing Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, including scheduling, monitoring, and de-conflicting teleconference schedules. It also includes the installation and testing of VTC and Voice over IP (VOIP) equipment, assisting with VTC process development and sustainment across AMC (Air Mobility Command) wide. The position requires providing accurate scheduling for SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) conference rooms at various locations and conducting VTC installations at AMC subordinate commands. Additionally, the role includes providing basic user training on VTC equipment and processes, both hands-on and through written documentation, and submitting daily updates and weekly status reports. The specialist will ensure continued access to the JWICS (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System) computer network by resetting user passwords, unlocking accounts, creating new accounts, and installing printers and network drives. Regular briefings and reports on task status and performance metrics are also required, along with weekly meetings with the Government IT representative to discuss and approve changes to the VTC baseline.

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance, Must Have Clearance to Start
  • Security+, CCNA, CSA+, GSEC+ OR SSCP
  • Helpdesk, Network Support, VTC Support experience
  • 5+ years of experience
  • IAT Level II certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage VTC systems: scheduling, verifying, and monitoring all JWICS VTCs.
  • De-conflict teleconference schedules.
  • Conduct installation and testing of VTC and VOIP equipment.
  • Assist with VTC process development and sustainment AMC wide.
  • Provide accurate scheduling for SCIF conference rooms at HQ AMC, HQ CECOM, and ASC.
  • Travel AMC wide to conduct end-point system VTC installations.
  • Provide basic user VTC training on all JWICS VTC equipment and processes.
  • Provide daily updates via spreadsheet or individual communication.
  • Provide weekly status updates via Weekly Activities Report (WAR).
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Government IT representative to discuss and obtain approval for any potential changes to the organization’s VTC baseline.
  • Ensure continued access to the JWICS computer network, including resetting user passwords, unlocking user accounts, creating new user accounts, and installing printers and network drives.
  • Provide weekly and monthly briefings or reports containing status of tasks and performance metrics.
