HII Mission Technologies’ NITE (Naval Information Technology Enterprise) group is seeking a skilled and customer‑focused Technical Support Specialist to provide frontline technical assistance to end users supporting mission‑critical Navy and DoD operations. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong communication skills, a service‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly secure environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
Candidate must have experience in military or civilian air traffic control, radio communications, or training range operations and maintenance.
Candidate must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Candidate must possess a valid driver’s licence.
Candidate must submit to laser operations ocular examination as required.

Nice To Haves

Candidate must have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: procurement, shipping and receiving, or inventory control.

Responsibilities

Communicate directly by radio with military aviators during combat training missions.
Monitor aircraft ordnance drops and electronically score for accuracy.
Obtain and record scoring information via computerized programs.
Ensure safe training environment through personnel access control.
Operate and maintain electronic scoring systems and other range target and simulator systems.
Perform maintenance on systems.
Complete and maintain Job Qualification Standards (JQS) within specified timeframes.
Driving pickup trucks and all-terrain vehicles or similar vehicles
Maintenance of targets and range assets
Facility access control and security system maintenance
Facility maintenance and housekeeping duties
Working to a flexible schedule due to mission requirements
Travel to support mission requirements
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
