Harris Beach Murtha is seeking a Technical Support Specialist (Help Desk) to join our Information Technology team. You will THRIVE in this role if you have: 3+ years of experience in IT support, including network, customer, and systems support A college degree or certification in IT or Computer Science (preferred) Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office 2016/365, and conferencing tools like Jabber, Teams, and Webex Familiarity with Citrix or other remote access technologies Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of systems and technologies Excellent client service, communication, and listening skills The Technical Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the firm’s technology infrastructure and end users. Do you have the DRIVE and DESIRE to: Provide technical support by phone, in person, and in writing Assist users with software and hardware issues, including escalated support requests Configure, install, test, and deploy systems and applications Troubleshoot server and network issues, including Office 365 and Microsoft Server environments Participate in firm-wide initiatives such as legal project management, SharePoint integration, and office reorganizations Maintain accurate records of support interactions and recurring issues Prepare user reference materials and provide training on new or unfamiliar systems Travel between offices when needed Harris Beach Murtha recognizes everyone has a right to be included. The anticipated weekly schedule for the Technical Support Specialist in Albany and Rochester is 40 hours per week.
