About The Position

We are seeking an organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Technical Support Representative to provide technical support and maintenance for retail locations. This is a full-time temporary remote position on the night shift. Preferred locations are Florida, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and New Jersey. The position pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge replacing, configuring, and setting up hardware and software.
• Strong understanding of POS hardware, including peripherals.
• Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting at the board level and repairing terminals, computers, and peripherals at the component level.
• Proficiency in networking.
• Must provide own Windows device, dual monitors, and a strong wired internet connection.
• Must be able to work at a rate of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, repairs, and assistance to retail locations with POS software and hardware issues.
• Repair and maintain POS terminals, scanners/scales, printers, drawers, monitors, keyboards, computers, and related software.
• Assist with setting up and installing new hardware and POS-related software.
• Troubleshoot core system remote devices.
• Perform computer-related break-fix repairs as needed.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks while working independently and communicating with store staff.
