Technical Specialist I-DLMP (Biorepository Program)
About The Position
Works with the Technical Specialist II, Technical Specialist Coordinator, and the laboratory management team to provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory, including operation maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays. Validates and documents operational changes using the test life cycle process (TLCP). Provides direction for operational workflow, and serves as an expert resource for the work unit. Completes other projects or assignments as assigned. and serves as an expert resource for laboratory technologists. Additional Information: This Technical Specialist position will be assisting in collection and processing of large NIH grants awarded to the Mayo Clinic Biorepository program. They will be assisting with building collection kits ensuring NIH project collection can occur. This position will also be responsible for processing of collected samples according to study protocols.
