About The Position

Anthropic is seeking Technical Specialists to drive meaningful adoption of its rapidly growing Claude Code product within strategic enterprise customers. This role focuses on post-sale technical engagement and enablement, converting developer enthusiasm into organization-wide adoption. Technical Specialists will tailor enablement programs to customer stacks and workflows, focusing on deep adoption of proprietary Claude capabilities. They will also engage in pre-sale strategic pilots, partnering with Sales and Applied AI to scope, enable, and define success criteria. This is not a technical implementation role, but rather one focused on demonstrating the value and possibilities of Claude Code and Cowork through demos, reference implementations, and hands-on engagement with developers and leaders.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architecture, sales engineering, developer relations, or technical consulting).
  • Experience building with products like Claude Code, the Claude Developer Platform, and Cowork.
  • Ability to deliver technical talks, workshops, or training to engineering audiences.
  • Builder credibility with meaningful time as a software engineer, founder, solutions engineer, developer advocate, or Solutions Architect.
  • Experience supporting technical evaluations or pilots in an enterprise setting.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Project management instincts to run multi-week activation plans or pilots.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for on-site enablement, pilots, hackathons, and customer events.
  • Deep enthusiasm for AI with hands-on experience building with LLMs.
  • An instinct for how AI technology should be used responsibly inside large organizations.

  • Ability to open a terminal and drive tools during meetings.
  • Experience with agentic AI and its impact on software development.
  • Ability to answer questions about security, scale, or agent behavior for senior platform engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-user excitement inside enterprise accounts.
  • Design and deliver customer-specific enablement programs (workshops, office hours, labs, curricula).
  • Drive deep adoption of proprietary Claude Code capabilities tailored to customer workflows.
  • Enable and excite champions and AI Center of Excellence leads within customer organizations.
  • Support strategic pilots with pre-sales technical enablement.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Applied AI, and customer engineering leads on pilots.
  • Carry pilot context into post-sale engagement for a seamless customer experience.
  • Run hackathons and builder events inside customer organizations.
  • Build production-quality demo apps, reference architectures, and code samples.
  • Create technical content (tutorials, blog posts, walkthroughs, cookbooks).
  • Translate new product capabilities into field-ready content quickly.
  • Deliver keynotes, technical talks, and live-coded demos at customer events.
  • Run 'ask me anything' sessions with customer engineering organizations.
  • Represent Anthropic with customer engineering communities and the broader developer ecosystem.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Applied AI, and Customer Success to sequence engagements.
  • Bring back signal from the field to Product and Engineering.
  • Contribute to the team's playbook by capturing and sharing best practices.
