About The Position

The Technical Services Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing management of system integrations across the HRT technology ecosystem. This role ensures seamless connectivity between internal platforms, third-party providers, and client-facing systems, maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of all integration workflows. The Technology Services Lead works closely with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and integration strategies. The Technology Services Lead also serves as the primary point of contact for client technical support, addressing integration-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges. This includes supporting client onboarding, guiding implementation processes, and providing clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience. In addition, the role acts as a key liaison with external technology partners and vendors, coordinating integration efforts, managing ongoing relationships, and ensuring alignment of technical requirements, service levels, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in technology and financial operations; experience in digital assets or fintech strongly preferred.
  • A general understanding of cryptocurrency trading, custody, and/or blockchain fundamentals.
  • Experience with reconciliations and posting entries to core trust/banking systems and/or custody platforms.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across risk, compliance, technology, and client service teams.
  • Strong general technical competence.
  • The ability to synthesize multiple sources of input (data, stakeholders, client research, design) and arrive at high quality decisions.
  • Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical requirements, with a particular emphasis on designing innovative solutions to custody-related business challenges while respecting and supporting the regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities of a qualified custodian.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of integration for our proprietary platform, ensuring seamless connectivity with liquidity sources, 3rd party platforms and external service partners.
  • Lead the technical integration of third-party systems (custody, trading venues, staking providers, data feeds) into the core platform via APIs, middleware, and standardized data pipelines.
  • Ensure all trade lifecycle events from external execution venues are normalized, ingested, and processed within the core platform, including allocation, settlement, and post-trade reconciliation.
  • Design and maintain processes that standardize and reconcile data flowing from multiple external systems into a single, consistent view within the proprietary platform.
  • Ensure the core platform acts as the authoritative system of record by synchronizing transaction data, balances, and journal entries across all integrated systems.
  • Integrate blockchain data (wallet activity, settlements, staking flows) directly into the platform, ensuring accurate reflection of on-chain activity within internal systems.
  • Connect onboarding, KYC/AML, and account management systems into the platform to support a unified client lifecycle across fiat and digital asset services.
  • Embed transaction monitoring, AML/KYC workflows, and regulatory reporting capabilities directly into the platform through integrated compliance tooling.
  • Drive automation of operational workflows within the platform by orchestrating interactions between integrated systems, reducing manual intervention.
  • Build and maintain platform-driven reporting capabilities that aggregate and present data from all integrated systems for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
