About The Position

Onshape by PTC is a leading cloud-native CAD and PDM software for mechanical design engineers. This role offers an opportunity to expand Onshape's footprint in North America. The Technical Services team is seeking an energetic and skilled individual to join them. The ideal candidate will be articulate and experienced in delivering engaging product demonstrations. This role involves collaborating with a fast-paced, in-office team at PTC HQ in Boston's Seaport District to support sales efforts by showcasing the product to potential new customers. A strong understanding of engineering applications (CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, FEA, etc.) and the ability to communicate the product's unique features effectively are essential. The role is crucial in introducing a next-generation product design platform to a broader audience. This role requires a 3-day per week in-office minimum.

Requirements

Experience with mechanical CAD software (Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, etc.)
Experience in delivering product demonstrations.
Experience in troubleshooting complex customer requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a technical equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience and familiarity with PDM or PLM products (SOLIDWORKS PDM, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter)
Experience with engineering software such as CAM, FEA/CFD, ECAD.
