Technical Services Director
About The Position
Bureau Veritas is seeking a Technical Services Director to provide operational leadership, drive business growth, and support the delivery of high-quality technical services across our Oil & Gas division. This role will partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Project Management teams to improve efficiency, strengthen client relationships, support business development efforts, and ensure operational excellence. A strategic leader with strong operational and financial acumen who can drive performance, develop high-performing teams, and help grow our Oil & Gas business while delivering exceptional client service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASME, and related industry standards.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational performance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and develop Project Managers and technical field teams.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development activities.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and resource planning activities, including developing financial projections, estimating budgets, and forecasting staffing and resource requirements.
- Monitor KPIs, profitability, utilization, and staffing requirements.
- Partner with leadership to improve processes, productivity, and business results.
- Support recruiting, workforce planning, and talent development efforts.
