About The Position

One of our customer is looking for a Technical Service Specialist! Summary Our customer manufacture high performance industrial printing solutions. They design and produce advanced thermal printers, cut-sheet and continuous-fee laser printers, mobile printers, and production print systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years hands on experience supporting and repairing print production equipment.
• Proficiency in basic computer hardware configuration and firmware setup.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel to corporate HQ in Germany.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with thermal printers, laser printers, and industrial printing systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced in house bench support, performing technical diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of installed printer systems.
• Deliver remote troubleshooting support to customers and third party service technicians
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related printer issues in high production environments
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of customer equipment.
• Accurately document and troubleshoot processes, root cause findings, corrective actions, and final resolutions.
• Access and apply firmware updates, drivers, technical documentation, an knowledge base resource to support issues.
