About The Position

Provide technical support to a team of 7 Field Service Engineers. Analyze schematic drawings to identify problem areas within the range of industrial UPS systems. Oversee the service region, including the Field Service Department, by performing annual reviews, applying safety and disciplinary procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Provide on-call phone support on rotating weekends. Telework is available 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years (or master's +3) working as Field Service Engineer.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance, commissioning, and repair of uninterruptible power supplies and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power electronics, applications, and electrical schematics within petrochemical and power generation industry.
  • 2 years' experience in power electronics or closely related field using multimeters, oscilloscopes and similar industrial networking equipment.
  • 2 years' experience leading teams directly or indirectly.
  • Ability to travel 20% to client sites in Gulf Coast Region.
