Career Opportunity For Technical Service Manager As the Technical Service Manager you will be responsible for overseeing technical service and support for the company's printing, packaging, and labeling products. This includes managing a team of technical service engineers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues, and providing technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Printing Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Proven experience working with packaging materials and inks in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Demonstrated success in resolving technical issues related to packaging, printing, or ink performance
  • Experience receiving and responding to direct customer feedback regarding product performance and quality
  • Hands-on involvement working with cross-functional teams (R&D, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing) to implement technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of current trends, technologies, and advancements in the packaging and inks industry.
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effective project management and organizational skills

  • Understanding of lamination, coating, and post-print converting processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental standards related to inks and coatings

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical support activities for wide web flexographic printing customers.
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting, ink optimization, and product performance evaluations.
  • Plan and execute press trials, product introductions, and technical audits.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical service strategies that support customer retention and growth.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customer accounts.
  • Mentor and support technical representatives and field service personnel.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, service reports, and communication logs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
