About The Position

The Technical SEO Specialist will strengthen the technical foundation of our digital properties, ensuring our sites are fast, crawlable, indexable, and accurately measured. This role blends SEO engineering with analytics and CMS expertise and works closely with developers, product managers, paid media teams, 3rd party vendors, and content teams to maintain a clean technical environment and reliable tracking. This position is approved for remote work and is open to candidates in all U.S. states, it does require 10%-20% travel.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Technical SEO or SEO engineering
  • Strong experience with Google Tag Manager (tags, triggers, variables, data layer)
  • Hands-on experience with GA4 event creation, debugging, and conversion setup
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console (coverage, sitemaps, enhancements, URL inspection)
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot CMS (templates, modules, redirects, SEO settings)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with site audits using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or DeepCrawl
  • Understanding of canonicalization, redirects, robots.txt, sitemaps, and rendering
  • Ability to collaborate with developers on React/Next.js or other JS frameworks
  • Comfortable analyzing server logs, crawl reports, and performance metrics
  • Ability to build relationships and articulate ideas well with a keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose crawl, indexation, rendering, and site architecture issues
  • Monitor Google Search Console coverage, indexing, enhancements, and resolve GSC-reported issues
  • Implement and QA tracking tags, triggers, variables, and data layer integrations in Google Tag Manager
  • Create GA4 properties, configure custom events, conversions, and parameters
  • Manage SEO settings, templates, redirects, and structured content within HubSpot CMS
  • Improve Core Web Vitals and overall site performance
  • Deploy, test, and validate schema markup
  • Monitor crawl behavior and identify inefficiencies through log file analysis
  • Validate SEO requirements during releases, migrations, and redesigns
  • Ensure tracking remains correct after code or CMS changes
  • Build dashboards using GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, and HubSpot analytics
