About The Position

CACI is seeking a Technical Scrum Master to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, and Tableau to provide end-to-end situational awareness for IT services. This hybrid role involves leading agile software development teams by overseeing design, implementation, Quality Assurance, and validation of programming code, products, and deployments. The Scrum Master will also create project outlines and timelines, facilitate daily stand-ups and meetings to monitor project progress, resolve technical and project issues, remove obstacles, document progress, and communicate updates to the appropriate audience. The role requires providing strategic technical leadership, ensuring alignment with client needs and program goals, and conducting Agile SAFe ceremonies and events. The individual will track and collect Agile metrics, facilitate team velocity, and support Shared Services and technical program leadership in release planning, system design, and implementation. They are responsible for team performance and delivery of documented deliverables, creating meeting agendas, tracking action items, facilitating team communications, preparing briefings for leadership, collaborating with cross-organizational team members, and managing customer expectations. Additionally, the role assists the Quality/Program Manager with contract deliverable documentation.

Requirements

• Must have Scrum Master Certification
• 7 years’ experience managing projects in similar size and with multiple competing priorities
• 7 years’ experience managing IT projects using either Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• 5 years’ experience in software development, software engineering and/or IT system and network architecture supporting enterprise-wide IT solutions
• Adaptable and able to work constructively with a technically and geographically diverse team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment; working with others to meet aggressive time-based goals and high-quality standards
• Typically has a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile product teams in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) organization
• Provide strategic technical leadership ensuring alignment with client needs and program goals
• Conduct Agile SAFe ceremonies and events
• Track and collect Agile metrics for inclusion into program level metrics
• Facilitate team velocity and remove blockers
• Supports Shared Services and technical program leadership in conducting release planning, system design and system implementation as needed
• Responsible for team performance to include delivery of documented deliverables
• Creates meeting agendas and tracks after action items to closure for meetings as required
• Facilitates team communications and updates Program Management Office (PMO), product owner, product stakeholders, and staff as appropriate
• Prepares briefings on product status for both CACI and Government leadership
• Collaborates effectively with team members across multiple organizations
• Effectively documents and manages customer expectations in a fast-paced and fluid environment
• Assists Quality/Program Manager with the creation of contract deliverable documentation
