Discover Impactful Work: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Specialist III, where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise. You'll represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions, working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a technical advisor, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences. A successful Technical Sales Specialist in Cell Biology, Regenerative Medicine will be responsible for providing life science technologies to Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical customers to support their research in Stem Cell, Neurobiology, Cell and Gene Therapy, Recombinant Proteins, and Gene Editing. The ideal candidate should demonstrate competencies to drive growth at key accounts, expand portfolio solutions and commercial partnerships, and develop new accounts in those territories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of a combination of technical and customer-facing experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or the life sciences industry.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Cell Biology product portfolio and applications.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and formulate an action-based plan to capitalize on the data.

  • Master's Degree plus 3 years or PhD plus 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Provide technical expertise across the sales cycle.

  • Provide life science technologies to Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical customers to support their research in Stem Cell, Neurobiology, Cell and Gene Therapy, Recombinant Proteins, and Gene Editing.
  • Drive growth at key accounts, expand portfolio solutions and commercial partnerships, and develop new accounts in those territories.
  • Provide forecasting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment to Account map, create growth strategies, and share gains.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and training.
