About The Position

Our client is an international industrial company specialized in the design and manufacturing of technical products for industrial, infrastructure, and environmental applications. As part of the development of its U.S. operations, the company is looking to recruit its first local Business Developer / Technical Sales Representative to support and accelerate the growth of its activities across the U.S. market. The position is based in Charleston, South Carolina, with frequent travel across the U.S. territory (40–50%).

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales within technical or industrial environments.
  • Experience in industrial equipment, technical products, machinery, infrastructure, environmental solutions, or related industrial sectors is highly appreciated.
  • Comfortable selling technical products and interacting with industrial stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
  • Proactive, persistent, hands-on, and able to open doors, build relationships, and develop a territory.
  • Enjoy field-based environments, networking, client interactions, and are not afraid to get involved operationally when needed.
  • Autonomous, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and comfortable working within an agile and international environment.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Willing to travel frequently across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in accelerating business growth across industrial and environmental markets.
  • Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing an existing client portfolio.
  • Actively identify new prospects, distributors, and market opportunities across the U.S. territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and client visits to commercial negotiations and follow-up.
  • Act as a trusted partner for clients and distributors.
  • Contribute to strengthening the company’s local presence by participating in industry events, developing relationships within the market, and promoting technical solutions adapted to customer needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Production) to ensure smooth coordination and successful project execution.
