About The Position

Nova-Tron Controls Corp. is seeking a Technical Sales / Project Manager to support the sale and delivery of electrical controls solutions. This position requires practical experience with conveyors and material-handling applications, basic electrical controls knowledge, and some sales or quoting experience. Conveyor knowledge will be used to identify controls requirements, not to select or design mechanical equipment. The Technical Sales / Project Manager serves as a primary connection between customers, sales, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. Success requires asking the right questions early, clearly defining requirements, and keeping customers and internal teams aligned on scope, cost, and delivery expectations. Related backgrounds in maintenance, field service, operations, or project coordination are welcome. There is no minimum number of years required. Practical knowledge, communication skills, and a willingness to learn are valued.

Translate customer applications into clearly defined controls requirements.
Identify technical concerns and missing information.
Coordinate effectively with customers and internal departments.
Manage projects while maintaining clear expectations for scope, cost, and delivery.
Learn Nova-Tron Controls’ products, processes, and applications.

Responsibilities

Work with conveyor OEMs and material-handling customers to understand their equipment, applications, and operating requirements.
Review conveyor layouts, equipment specifications, and sequences of operation to establish controls requirements.
Identify missing information, application concerns, and scope gaps before quotation and engineering begin.
Develop quotations with internal technical resources, clearly communicating pricing, scope, assumptions, and exclusions.
Manage projects from order acceptance through shipment, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and customer communication.
Track requirement changes and communicate their impact on pricing, schedules, and scope.
Coordinate technical support and respond to customer questions.
Build customer relationships, follow up on opportunities, and identify additional applications for Nova-Tron Controls’ solutions.
