About The Position

The Technical Sales Coordinator will mentor a multi-disciplinary inside sales team, including customer service reps and technical coordinators. This role manages a "team of teams" structure to foster collaboration between engineering, production planning, customer service, and quality assurance groups. The coordinator will develop team KPIs, provide regular performance feedback, and drive accountability across groups. They will serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external customers for customer-facing expectations in deliverables, translating technical requirements and drawings into actionable deliverables and quotations. This role involves evaluating tooling health statuses, identifying gaps that require immediate attention and escalation, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to assess feasibility, lead times, and cost implications. The Technical Sales Coordinator will standardize communication processes and sales documentation, identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, and partner with field sales and account managers to understand customer programs, priorities, and challenges. Ensuring timely and accurate communication of order status, technical clarifications, and delivery timelines is crucial. The role also involves analyzing sales and operational data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements, as well as supporting demand forecasting and capacity planning efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer facing experience in a customer service, sales, quality or engineering role
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
