About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Advisor with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to support sales growth by providing technical expertise, client engagement, and solution-based selling. This role bridges engineering and sales, ensuring customers receive tailored solutions that meet operational and performance needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in oil & gas technical sales, field engineering, or related roles
Strong knowledge of upstream, midstream, or downstream operations
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into client-focused solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to travel as required (up to XX%)

Nice To Haves

Experience with drilling, completions, production equipment, or pipeline systems
Established network within the oil & gas industry
CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
Project management experience

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert supporting sales initiatives across oil & gas clients
Develop and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to design customized solutions
Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
Provide pre- and post-sales support, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
Analyze customer requirements and recommend equipment, systems, or services
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings
Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with technical specifications
