About The Position

We’re looking for a technical recruiter who brings deep familiarity with the space or satellite industry and is excited to help Loft scale our mission solutions division. In this role, you’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process - from sourcing to offer - for a variety of highly technical roles that are core to our satellite systems. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent across systems engineering, test, hardware production and program leadership functions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in sourcing, including use of LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search techniques.
  • Experience hiring for roles in the space, satellite, aerospace, or adjacent deep tech industries.
  • Proven success recruiting for specialized profiles such as satellite systems engineers, program managers, and assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) engineers.
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and terminology relevant to space hardware, satellite systems, and mission operations.
  • Experience recruiting globally, with a strong understanding of both US and European aerospace/space tech ecosystems—including major players, emerging startups, and talent hubs—to inform and continuously refine sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to effectively pitch Loft’s mission, culture, and technical challenges to highly specialized, passive candidates.
  • Experience conducting phone screens and managing candidate communication through the full interview lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with ATS tools (Lever preferred), including maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipelines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to partner closely with hiring managers and the internal recruiting team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience hiring for additional technical domains such as avionics, GNC, mechanical, or mission operations.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and compliance considerations relevant to US-based space and defense hiring.
  • Prior work in or close partnership with startup or high-growth aerospace companies.
  • Background in agency recruiting or experience working across multiple clients or technical domains.
  • Interest in or knowledge of the commercial space industry, satellite operations, or deep/hardware tech.
  • Skilled at using social platforms like LinkedIn to enhance employer brand and attract niche technical talent.
  • Comfort reporting on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and sourcing performance.
