About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit a Technical Recruiter to join their growing team. Our client is a software consulting brokerage that is laser‑focused on connecting top independent software developers and engineers with complex, high‑impact client projects. They partner with organizations that see software as a true strategic advantage and value getting things done right, on time and on budget. This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys building relationships, understands technical talent, and thrives in a fast-moving, results-driven environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams and a trusted network of consultants to match the right people to the right projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–4 years of experience as a recruiter or in a related role, ideally within technical or consulting environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Confident negotiation abilities and consultative mindset
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable with internet research, sourcing tools, and recruiting platforms (e.g. JobDiva, TrackerRMS or similar)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to understand and learn relevant technologies and technical skill sets

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, including technical requirements, culture, and project goals
  • Partner closely with internal account and delivery teams to ensure strong consultant-client matches
  • Source, identify, and engage independent software consultants using networking, referrals, job boards, social media, and direct outreach
  • Evaluate consultant qualifications to assess technical skills, experience, and overall fit
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with consultants, keeping them engaged and informed about opportunities
  • Facilitate the full placement process, from initial outreach through engagement
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within internal systems
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and in‑demand skill sets
  • Collaborate across teams to support shared goals and client success
