About The Position

WOOD is seeking a Technical Recruiter who understands that modern recruiting is not resume forwarding, it is talent strategy. This role supports high-priority, cleared technical hiring pipelines across mission-driven programs. The ideal candidate is strong in sourcing, comfortable screening technical talent, disciplined in process, and already leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and insight. This position is execution-focused but requires thinking, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and activating talent pipelines aligned to anticipated contract awards and evolving labor needs. You will operate inside a structured Talent Acquisition system but are expected to bring initiative, curiosity, and technical fluency to the role. Performance-based bonus opportunities are available based on placement activity, pipeline health, and contribution to award readiness.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of recruiting experience (technical or cleared recruiting preferred).
  • Strong computer proficiency, including advanced MS Word skills and resume formatting.
  • Ability to understand and screen for technical concepts (e.g., system administration, network engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity).
  • Comfort operating in a structured, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience using an ATS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization and process discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously.
  • Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI tools to improve recruiting performance.
  • This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing and engagement efforts for cleared and technical positions across multiple labor categories.
  • Conduct structured technical screens to assess alignment, communication clarity, and readiness.
  • Format and align candidate resumes in MS Word to meet government and prime contractor submission standards.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline tracking within ATS to ensure no candidate or submission drops.
  • Proactively build and maintain warm talent pipelines aligned to anticipated awards and growth plans.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing efficiency, screening quality, and workflow speed.
  • Coordinate closely with leadership, security, and HR to move candidates efficiently through submission and clearance verification processes.
  • Provide real-time pipeline visibility, status updates, and submission metrics.
  • Track performance against measurable recruiting outcomes tied to bonus eligibility.
  • Continuously refine sourcing strategies based on market shifts, clearance availability, and technical demand.
