About The Position

Visionist is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join their small, growing, and collaborative team. This role is a top priority for the company and will have full support from leadership. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sourcing and attracting skilled professionals, with opportunities to contribute to marketing, event planning, and process development. This position offers the chance to recruit top software engineers, data scientists, and analysts who develop tools for national defense. Visionist has over 14 years of experience solving complex software and analysis challenges for the Intelligence Community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Areas of study in business, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, ATS maintenance, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while providing a high level of customer service to both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Experience recruiting software engineers with AI/ML experience.
  • U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
  • Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain working knowledge of Visionist programs and their related opportunities.
  • Gain knowledge of the Intel / DoD community’s recruiting and staffing processes, including the basics of clearance processing and contract placement.
  • Perform full life cycle/end-to-end recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, evaluating candidates, negotiating offers, and closing.
  • Ensure candidate retention by maintaining contact through regular check-ins throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain an active role in obtaining referrals and re-engaging candidates when appropriate positions become available.
  • Create your own networking community to develop strong connections with candidates and ultimately increase our presence in the local Intel Community.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to market Visionist to our target audience for digital and print materials.
  • Coordinate recruiting-related events such as industry events, career fairs, networking events, and more.
