About The Position

Sensormatic Electronics, LLC seeks a Technical QA Lead to facilitate day-to-day QA and software priorities and processes, while also being hands-on with projects within the team. This role involves reviewing test plans, prioritizing tests, ensuring best practices, designing and building physical environments for product verification, and identifying defect root causes. The lead will collaborate with development engineers, architects, and level 3 support engineers, and will build test plans and strategies for cloud, server, and web interfaces. Responsibilities also include reviewing automation priorities, assisting with automation in Python, JavaScript, or UFT frameworks, and contributing as an embedded member of sprint teams. The role operates under Agile principles, with the team lead often participating in multiple scrum teams to provide consulting and ensure best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Six (6) years of experience as a QA Lead, QA Analyst, or related occupation in hardware and software test.
  • Employment experience with WebdriverIO, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Employment experience with Zephyr Scale or other test management systems.
  • Employment experience with Cloud architecture, microservices, and deployments.
  • Employment experience with APIs, virtualized services, and API testing strategies.
  • Employment experience automating frontend web workflows with Selenium (JavaScript or Python).
  • Employment experience researching and presenting solutions to peers and QA management.

Responsibilities
