Assist with the coordination of all activities for development of new or revised engineering lab test procedures, work instructions, and other department-related documentation. Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all levels in the organization and across all regions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple short- and long-term projects to meet critical deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in an environment that requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about Victaulic products.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Technical writing experience a plus.
  • AutoCAD or SolidWorks skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with the engineering lab and product development teams to support planning and development of all necessary engineering lab test procedures and work instructions.
  • Understand the development of safety messaging per ANSI Z535 Standards.
  • Work within the Victaulic Global Data Portal (GDP) System to track and acquire approvals for engineering lab test procedures and work instructions.
  • Plan and conduct photo shoots for inclusion of high-quality images in engineering lab test procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of other engineering lab department manuals and procedures, as necessary.
  • Exemplify Victaulic leadership values and actively promote them across the organization.
