Inside the Role Powertrain Platform Management North America is responsible for Detroit Powertrain Products from conception to end of production (EOP). We are the Powertrain strategy lead for North America (Voice of the Region) and DTNA interface with a symbiotic relationship in support of DTNA Market dominance. This position is new to our Team and will evolve as we identify new ways to drive our business in a more efficient and effective manner. The team member in this position will contribute in the following ways: • Work mainly within Axle, Transmission and eDrive product aggregates. Support on Engine and ATS as needed. • Support / steer Series Management activities for Axle, Transmission and eDrive. • Support / steer small to mid-sized projects for Axle, Transmission and eDrive. • Support / steer key areas of our business such as MCD (Material Cost Down), Quality driven change points and special projects. • Identify / implement KPI driven process and continuous improvement. • Identify / implement Simpler, Faster, Stronger process improvements within the team and department. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 – $110,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Drive At DTNA: Uses specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for technical driven, quality driven, or cost reduction processes and projects. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against milestones and budgets. Provides technical and analytical guidance to module and project teams. Ensures adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables. Analyzes and documents requirements by liaising with a range of cross functional users in the local and global organization.
