About The Position

The Technical Project/Program Manager will lead NPI product development programs from concept through mass production release. This role involves working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, conducting various design reviews, and mentoring engineers. The manager will oversee project schedules, staffing, vendor selection, and technical risks, particularly within ODM/CM ecosystems, and will be responsible for accelerating manufacturing line bring-up and resolving technical issues during new product introduction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in leading a multidisciplinary engineering organization spanning hardware, firmware, embedded software, PCB design, and production test engineering.
  • Experience reviewing designs produced by external engineering teams or ODMs and providing technical feedback on component selection and design trade-offs.
  • Experience in technical oversight for complex mixed-signal hardware architectures incorporating high-speed SoCs, DDR memory, USB, Ethernet, high-speed serial interfaces, precision analog electronics, embedded processors, and power electronics.
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews, HDL reviews, schematic reviews, PCB layout reviews, and system integration while mentoring engineers from junior through principal levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NPI product development programs from concept, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, verification, validation, EMC compliance, manufacturing transfer, and Mass Production Release.
  • Work with different teams contributing to programs including Hardware, Firmware, Embedded Software, PCB Design, and Production Test engineering teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, schematic reviews, PCB layout reviews, and design reviews while mentoring engineers across multiple technical disciplines.
  • Lead mechanical and electrical bring-up.
  • Manage project schedules, staffing plans, vendor selection, component approvals, and technical risk across multiple projects.
  • Lead hardware programs through ODM/CM ecosystems.
  • Accelerate manufacturing line bring-up and resolve technical issues by following up with ODMs during new product introduction.
