Corporate Functions VP Technical Project Manager
About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on technology leader to serve as a Corporate Functions Technical Project Manager, responsible for leading the successful delivery of modern business solutions across Human Resources, Legal, Audit, Risk, Compliance, and other Corporate Functions domains. This role combines technical project leadership, solution delivery management, and hands-on engineering experience to drive the implementation of business capabilities through a combination of custom development, low-code platforms, third-party SaaS solutions, and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate understands how to evaluate whether a business need is best addressed through build, buy, configure, automate, or integrate strategies and can successfully lead delivery from concept through production. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation with experience in application development, solution architecture, systems integration, data platforms, and automation technologies. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and business-driven solutions while ensuring strong governance, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes. Corporate Functions is accelerating its digital transformation agenda by modernizing processes, automating manual work, enhancing employee experiences, and leveraging enterprise data more effectively. This role serves as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution by driving solution delivery across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, evaluating technology options and recommending the most effective approach, leading implementation efforts across build, buy, and platform-based solutions, accelerating automation and process improvement opportunities, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise standards, and delivering measurable business value while reducing complexity and operational risk.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, technical project management, application development, or solution implementation.
- Strong hands-on software development background.
- Experience leading delivery teams in Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise applications and platform-based solutions.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, APIs, and modern development practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party solution providers.
- Experience supporting Human Resources, Legal, Audit, Risk, Compliance, or other Corporate Functions organizations.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled business solutions and business process automation.
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across Corporate Functions.
- Develop project plans, roadmaps, milestones, and execution strategies.
- Manage scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate efforts across business teams, technology partners, vendors, and engineering resources.
- Drive successful execution from requirements through deployment and post-production support.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities.
- Assess and recommend the best solution approach, including custom application development, commercial SaaS solutions, platform-based solutions, process automation, and integrations and workflow orchestration.
- Create technology recommendations supported by cost, risk, scalability, and operational considerations.
- Partner with architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Drive solution delivery leveraging Microsoft Power Platform capabilities, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead design and implementation of workflow-driven business solutions.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, governed, secure, and maintainable.
- Support citizen development initiatives while maintaining enterprise controls.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for solution design and implementation.
- Participate in application development, integration design, troubleshooting, and technical reviews.
- Guide engineering teams on development standards, best practices, and delivery approaches.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to improve solution quality and maintainability.
- Support technical decision-making throughout project execution.
- Partner with business teams to define data and reporting requirements.
- Drive initiatives involving Power BI, Databricks, enterprise reporting platforms, dashboard development, and data integration and transformation.
- Support the creation of operational and executive-level reporting capabilities.
- Enable data-driven decision making through modern analytics solutions.
- Lead delivery efforts involving integrations across enterprise systems including Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Databricks, internal enterprise applications, and vendor SaaS platforms.
- Coordinate API, file-based, and event-driven integrations.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and operationally supportable.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for information security, data privacy, architecture governance, risk management, and compliance controls.
- Support technology reviews, governance forums, and production readiness activities.
- Establish metrics to measure delivery effectiveness and business value realization.
- Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
