The Technical Project Manager 1 is an entry-level role that creates and manages products that reach a variety of audiences with the purpose of furthering the mission of the Church by inviting all to come unto Christ. The focus of the Technical Project Manager is on meeting the needs of the customer audience. This role is responsible for understanding unmet and customer/audience needs, balancing stakeholder requirements with customer needs, establishing and maintaining a prioritized backlog of product requirements, and prioritizing audiences/customers. The Technical Project Manager acts as a product ambassador, creating, leading, and working with cross-functional teams, and managing the entire product lifecycle, including product launch and adoption for all targeted audiences. They are also responsible for developing core product communication, messaging, and positioning by audiences, establishing, monitoring, and reporting product metrics, and managing inventory levels to meet supply/demand. This role typically involves indirect leadership and teamwork within cross-functional teams, overseeing products with some strategic influence, managing a few products or functional areas, and a budget in the $100,000+ range. The products managed are typically simple in scope and require no integration with other products. The role involves making presentations and gaining approvals at director-level or lower, and typically works with internal teams with little to no vendor management responsibility.
