About The Position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and self-directed Technical Project Manager to provide critical mission support directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a key government client. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the selected candidate will drive strategic engagements, manage business process optimization initiatives, and deliver high-impact technical project management. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical execution and executive-level communication, ensuring complex initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic DoD goals.

Requirements

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technical project management or management consulting, preferably within a federal or military environment.
Proven hands-on experience utilizing Power BI and/or Tableau to synthesize data and generate executive-ready dashboards.
Working knowledge of business process automation (RPA) tools and methodologies.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software.
Strong structural organizational skills with a proven track record of managing technical projects from initiation through closure.

Responsibilities

Act as a key advisor to the CTO by researching, drafting, and developing strategic policy documents, technical briefs, and executive communications.
Coordinate high-level strategic engagements and track critical deliverables from external partners.
Lead business process optimization projects in direct coordination with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to streamline enterprise workflows.
Define and align project roles, responsibilities, and milestones across diverse stakeholder groups.
Establish, track, and maintain rigorous project timelines, budget estimates, and comprehensive status reports.
Author and execute comprehensive management plans, stakeholder communication strategies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical duties.
