The Simons Foundation’s Informatics group, part of the Division of Autism and Neuroscience (A&N), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of selected high-priority, complex, or cross-functional projects. Reporting to the Vice President of Informatics, the Technical Project Manager will drive projects from planning through delivery while establishing consistent practices that improve execution and visibility across the broader Informatics portfolio. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of science and technology, helping deliver the software, data systems, and scientific resources that enable large-scale, impactful autism and neuroscience research. Working closely with product, engineering, bioinformatics, scientific, and study teams, the Technical Project Manager translates objectives and requirements into clear execution plans, establishes milestones and responsibilities, manages dependencies and risks, drives decisions and follow-through, and keeps projects on track through delivery. This role requires strong technical fluency, sound judgement, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will understand software and data systems well enough to identify technical and operational risks, recognize gaps in plans or requirements, and communicate effectively with engineers, scientists, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
